Finally a new song from the upcoming album “microcosmos” is ready! It’s called centralStation and you can check it out via bandcamp or soundcloud.
Making of:
Riding the subway in Bonn (former capital of Germany) I found that the voice announcing Bonn Hauptbahnhof (Bonn Central Station) has a specific sound I liked. So I recorded the announcement for some days with my blackberry handy and transferred the samples to my computer. Therefor you may make out background noises from the other passengers or the train approaching the central station. I added some cool samples from the Twisted City sampling CD and created a bass groove with my new Trillian instrument. That and a lot of micro editing does the trick. It was recorded and mixed in Ableton Live. I hope you’ll like it.
